Freespace happening returns to the West Kowloon Culture District again this year, presenting music, creation and other innovations on the 14th of January, 2018. Themed ‘Create’, the event will be presenting Mike Orange & The Universe Travellers, Jazz by Tjoe and Shandy Gan, and electronic sounds by Hahn Rowe, Soni Cheung, Jonathan Yang and Narbi on the music stage, and a ‘Rollerback Sunday’ pop-up roller skating rink for parents and their kids.
Not to mention, local artist Benjamin Hao will be hosting free workshops at the House of Hong Kong Literature, teaching attendees how to making paper with plant fibres. The festival’s regular programs such as ‘Writing on the leaves―a Wander in the Park’, ‘Literature Gachapon’ and ‘Reading on the Grass will continue; but we are definitely interested in revisiting the ‘Hoikokdaytan 2046’ handicraft market and ‘Market ++’ pop-up store.
Filled with creative experiences and a chance to rollerskate to 80s and 90s disco hits; have yourself an enjoyable Sunday at the West Kowloon Cultural District this week with your families and friends.
